NGK iridium spark plugs currently represent the highest quality technical solution. They have an iridium alloy on the center electrode, which is welded on in a special process with the help of a laser. The precious metal iridium is one of the hardest metals in the world. Its melting point is 2450 ° C and is therefore particularly resistant to spark erosion.
