PLUG & PLAY FUEL DRAINING KIT APRILIA RSV4 from 2009

Adding too much fuel for the race, not only results in unnecessary higher vehicle weight, but also and more important in unnecessarily higher dynamic weight-shifting effects, which are produced by sloshing of the fuel in the tank (even when tank foam is used). Especially while braking and while changing direction, these forces have a negative effect on the handling and the dynamic balance suspension of your bike.

This Fuel Draining Kit can be installed Plug & Play. Only high quality and selected and/or prefabricated components are used. One example is the acetal CPC coupling with FKM seal or the aramid reinforced FPM petrol hose. The old gasoline pipe comes in your spare part box and can be used for later rebuild. The supplied wiring harness contains isolated quick connectors for the fuel pump and the needed switched 12V-source. The hose trim on the tank needs to be reworked and also a 12mm hole need to be drilled for the pushbutton. The necessary milling head and the necessary 12mm conical drill are also included in this set.

With this Plug & Play RSV4 Fuel Drain Kit, you can measure your consumption per lap in the training sessions. To do this, first drain the tank until pump starts to suck air. Then fill the tank with a certain amount of gasoline, e.g. 8 liters. After your training session, repeat the process. The difference divided by the number of laps results in your consumption per lap. For the race, you calculate in advance the rounds to be driven, including the inlap, pre-start, race laps and the outlap. Please add 1 to 1,5 liter to your calculated amount of liters. This reserve is used for your safety so that the gasoline pump does not sucks any air in high leaning angles or braking phases.
